Spring Festival Opening Concert

The Spring Festival that is now an established Lahti Symphony Orchestra tradition this year presents an interesting set of programmes built round the theme of the seasons: both familiar classics and some unfamiliar masterpieces. The two orchestral concerts will be conducted by the LSO’s leader, Jaakko Kuusisto, who will also be the solo violinist. Appearing in the chamber music recital will be the Sinfonia Lahti Chamber Ensemble, and the festival’s guest artist is pianist Heini Kärkkäinen.
