Andrei Korobeinikov is a Russian pianist now shooting into orbit. A young artist who has taken a host of competition prizes, he now makes his first appearance in Finland in a Russian classic, the Piano Concerto No. 2 by Sergei Rachmaninov. Equally spectacular has been the rise of conductor Ludovic Morlot to become a regular guest of the world’s leading orchestras. With him he is bringing to Lahti a work of powerful emotions, the Seventh Symphony by Antonín Dvořak.
