How to watch classicLive from your TV?

To enjoy classicLive concerts through your TV, you need to connect it with your computer. Depending on the connections of your hardware, you need to pick the right cables for this.

For detailed instructions, we recommend this article .

Initially, there are many options and we will present the most common and easiest ones.

1. Check which video output types your computer has:
- HDMI [Wikipedia article ]
- DVI [Wikipedia article ]
- VGA [Wikipedia article ]

2. Check which input type your tv/stereo has:
- HDMI
- DVI
- VGA

3. Now match the input types from list below

Computer has HDMI and TV has HDMI -> Use HDMI
Computer has DVI and TV has DVI -> Use DVI
Computer has DVI and TV has VGA -> Use VGA + Adaptor
Computer has VGA and TV has VGA -> Use VGA

Note: You may also use S-video cable, but the video quality might be poorer than expected.

4. Unless you are using a HDMI connection (not a converted one), you will an need RCA audio cable as well. Make sure the other end has a 3,5mm miniplug unless you know you have a special audio interface, but this is rare.
