Opera, plays, dance and theatre for the young – Theater Bremen offers performances of the highest standards in all four categories. Under its new management of August 2007, Theater Bremen now focuses on internationality, diversity and breaking new ground. This latter aspect is represented by the numerous new collaborations with different partners and the opening of four permanent stages to the public. In addition, the establishment of an art gallery in the original main building of the theatre bears evidence of this new tenor.

The Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1949. Two remarkable internationally acclaimed personalities, Václav Talich (Principal Conductor 1949 - 1952) and Ľudovít Rajter (1949 - 1976, until 1961 as its Artistic Director) asisted at its birth. Other principal conductors that have played their part in the music evolution of the orchestra include Tibor Frešo, Ladislav Slovák, Libor Pešek, Vladimir Verbickij, Bystrík Režucha, and Aldo Ceccato.

The Flemish Radio Choir is a professional chamber choir whose programme includes works from the entire repertoire, with particular attention to Flemish and contemporary music. Each season the choir also commissions works from a number of Flemish composers. Since the 2005-2006 season, the Flemish Radio Choir once again makes its home in the Flagey building.
