Gran Teatro del Liceu

The Grand Theater of Lyceum was established in 1847 in La Rambla Barcelona. Over the years the opera house has kept  its role as a cultural and artistic center, and it is one of the symbols of the city. It is now a publicly owned theater-Generalitat de Catalunya, Barcelona, which is governed by the Barcelona Provincial and Ministry of Culture. It is administered by the Foundation of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, which includes, in addition to the above institutions, the Council Patronage of the Society and the former Gran Teatre del Liceu.
