Pan and Echo is a dance intermezzo by Jean Sibelius. He completed it in 1906 and conducted the first performance in Helsinki on 24 March 1906 with the Orchestra of Helsinki Philharmonic Society. He arranged it for piano in 1907.
Erik Tawaststjerna described the small piece as "lovable". Robert Layton was of the same opinion as regards the first half of the piece. However, he thought that the final sequence descended almost to the level of banality.
